About Denver Mah Jongg - Green Dragon Sentinels






One of the myths of the origin of Mah Jongg suggests that Confucius, the great Chinese philosopher, had developed the game in about 500 BC ... In this myth and in other Chinese folk lore, the Green Dragon (Fā) symbolizes strength, wisdom, wealth and good luck. It is for this reason that the name "Green Dragon Sentinels" was chosen. There is no membership fee for this meetup, though donations are greatly appreciated. Monies will be used to support the Meetup.com subscription.


The primary style of play is traditional Chinese rules with Hong Kong scoring

Since there is a 3-player minimum, please attend if you reserved a spot. Please check the calendar to see if we have met the minimum.

Since there is a player maximum, please update your reservation if you are unable to attend so that others may participate.
